Hours:
Train on day shift 7am-3:
30pm, third shift hours 11:
00pm-7:
30amPay:

50The Laboratory Technician will be working with multiple standards and test methods in an ASTM / ISO 17025 environment.
The Technician is responsible for preparing test specimens, conducting tests, and recording test results for presentation to end user.
Specific job duties:
Perform daily foam tests for the Auburn LabMust be able to cut detailed test samples, perform data entry, issue certification of compliance to customers.
Participates in and able to lead corrective action teamsMust be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including weekendsEffectively communicate, in English, with Lab Technicians, plant associates and Managers.
Must be able to create and update JHA's, and SOP's.
Follow all safety and housekeeping guidelines related to this.
QualificationsMust have High School diploma or GED equivalent; A.
S.
degree preferred.
ASQ certification as CQ1 or CQT is desirable.
Must have at least 2 years of lab testing experience.
Direct experience within a manufacturing facility under an ISO, AS, IATF management systems with documented training in one or more areas as Manager, Lead, Technician, Inspector and/or Auditor.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must have excellent computer skills with all Microsoft applications; SAP experience desirable.
Have working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC17025 current requirements.
Must be detail-oriented.
Must be able to work independently and effectively manage time.
